I. Highlight Project at Gengban Coal Mine: The water‑drainage trench cover plates in the auxiliary adit have been fully installed.
II. The installation of the gas drainage pipeline in Section II of the return air uphill roadway of the No. 1 mining area at Gengban Coal Mine has been successfully completed.

A new year calls for new achievements; now is the time to strive and set out once again to chase our dreams. With favorable winds, it’s the perfect moment to hoist the sails and press forward with renewed vigor. Standing at a fresh starting point, Gengban Coal Mine will remain steadfast in its commitment to safety first and putting life above all else—strengthening fundamentals, enforcing rigorous management, elevating standards, and ensuring stability—thus embarking on a new journey with a fresh outlook and delivering new accomplishments through decisive action. In the year ahead, the ventilation and gas control team at Gengban Coal Mine has demonstrated unwavering determination, successfully completing the installation of high‑ and low‑negative‑pressure gas drainage pipelines in the second section of the return airway of the No. 1 mining area—despite having no prior experience.
Although construction of the surface gas drainage pump station at Gengban Coal Mine has not yet commenced, in order to save time and in response to the mine’s production requirements, high- and low‑vacuum gas drainage pipelines have been installed in Section II of the return air main roadway of the already completed No. 1 mining area. Prior to installation, a thorough site survey was conducted, and after nearly one month, the installation of the gas drainage pipeline in the second section of the return-air uphill roadway of Mining District No. 1 was successfully completed.
III. Celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8: The enterprise organizes a joint social event with the local village committee.
On March 8, 2026, under the leadership of the mine’s management, staff from various departments of Gengban Coal Mine organized a friendly basketball match with the village committee of Lihua Village.
The basketball stars of Gengban Coal Mine have been pouring their sweat onto the court, fully showcasing the spirited, enterprising, and upward‑looking character of our workforce. In our matches against the team from Lihua Village’s village committee, we have upheld the principle of “friendship first, competition second,” ensuring that the games remain both entertaining and engaging while staying true to our values of strict self‑discipline and generous, considerate conduct.
The spectators on site were enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was electric. Amid the cheers and encouragement of the crowd, both teams showcased a high level of skill and exemplary sportsmanship. After a fiercely contested 30-minute battle, the final score settled at 39–36, with the Gengban Coal Mine basketball team edging out their opponents by a narrow margin.
Following the competition, the Lihua Village Committee organized a banquet. Over clinking glasses and lively conversation, we engaged in friendly exchanges with local residents and village committee staff, gaining insights into some of the latest policies and key priorities that require our attention in day-to-day work. Meanwhile, within each department, we held thorough discussions, comprehensively reviewed the most challenging and critical issues, and clarified the priorities and direction for our future efforts.
This basketball friendship event is of great significance. First, it has strengthened the ties between Gengban Coal Mine and the Lihua Village Committee, enabling smoother communication and collaboration in future work. Second, it has provided an excellent platform for interdepartmental exchange within Gengban Coal Mine, fostering unity and cooperation among departments and giving a strong boost to our subsequent operations.
Finally, it provides coal mine workers with an opportunity to relax, relieve the stress of their work, and fully dedicate themselves to their tasks going forward.
