The return air inclined shaft of Gengban Coal Mine, as one of the mine’s development roadways, has a designed cross-section that is arched, with an area of 16 square meters and a length of 38 meters. Its primary function is to serve as the mine’s return air passage.

Under the leadership of the mine’s management and with close cooperation among all departments, the No. 3 Excavation Team has been carrying out the following work since the mid-shift on September 12: erecting support frames, welding steel bars for interlocking reinforcement, setting up formwork, and pouring concrete. As of September 23, 2025, the ventilation inclined shaft at Gengban Coal Mine has been completely poured. All that remains now is to carry out maintenance, after which the ground works for the ventilation inclined shaft will be completed, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent underground tunneling projects and ensuring a bright future for Gengban Coal Mine.
