Group Introduction
Guizhou Qingli Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1999 and is headquartered in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a mixed-ownership enterprise with independent legal status and self-operated import and export rights, characterized by a strong social welfare orientation.
After years of development, it has now become a comprehensive enterprise group integrating coal and phosphate mining, phosphorus chemical production, and port logistics.
Following the national economic development guidelines of "resource conservation and green environmental protection," Qingli Group has adopted the principles of comprehensive resource utilization, energy conservation and emission reduction, and a circular economy. Guided by the Scientific Outlook on Development and aiming for green and low-carbon practices, the group fully leverages its resource advantages, utilizing waste gases and residues from the production process to develop environmentally friendly and energy-saving patented technology products. It is vigorously promoting a circular economy in coal-phosphorus chemical industries, with a particular focus on developing phosphorus chemical products. This approach holds great potential for future growth and demonstrates strong corporate growth momentum.
The Group will continue to accelerate the development of coal resources, building a coal production system characterized by centralized production, high productivity and efficiency, scientific management, and large-scale operations. It will also speed up the construction of Yangtze River ports and open up waterways, fundamentally addressing the bottleneck issue of railway transportation that has been制约ing the company’s coal, phosphate, and chemical products. Furthermore, the Group will gradually increase its efforts in the deep processing of coal, phosphate, and chemical products, as well as in developing downstream product lines, thereby extending the product value chain, enhancing industrial added value, and boosting the adaptability and competitiveness of its products in both domestic and international markets. The company will be transformed into a modern enterprise group that is “mineral-based with diversified industries,” integrating coal, phosphate, chemicals, and logistics into a diversified industrial structure, adopting a multi-faceted business strategy, and operating across regions and industries. In recent years, Qingli Group has been committed to “building a circular economy enterprise and setting an example for green and low-carbon development.” In the course of technological innovation, it has adopted a domestically pioneering technology—approved as a national invention patent—for producing calcium formate from yellow phosphorus tail gas. By purifying and refining carbon monoxide from yellow phosphorus tail gas and reacting it with calcium hydroxide, the company produces calcium formate, securing inexpensive raw materials while minimizing carbon emissions to the greatest extent possible. The implementation of this project has set a positive demonstration effect for the phosphate industry, further promoting “energy conservation and emission reduction,” achieving resource utilization of “three wastes,” and realizing “carbon neutrality,” thus paving the way for a scientifically sound development path that delivers good economic benefits, reduces resource consumption, and minimizes environmental pollution.
Qingli Group’s proactive implementation of green and low-carbon initiatives has been recognized and praised by society and relevant authorities. On November 7, 2021, at Beijing’s inaugural “International Conference on Carbon Neutrality Practices,” Chairman Zhou Shili was specially invited to introduce the nationally patented “Yellow Phosphorus Tail Gas Purification and Carbonyl Synthesis Calcium Formate Technology” and was also interviewed by Global Times.
China has already sounded the call for "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality," and all industries—literally thousands of enterprises—are now taking action, facing both challenges and opportunities. As one of the first members of the "Alliance Of Carbon Industries for Net Zero," Qingli Group, under the leadership of the Alliance, will join forces to jointly promote cooperation in the dual-carbon industry, seizing the initiative and achieving common development in China's journey toward "carbon peaking by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060."
